Sensitive Matter

Minha pesquisa parte da percepção de que a matéria não é passiva: ela vibra, respira e conserva memória. Madeira, latão, aço — densidade, peso e estrutura — tornam-se, no ateliê, um campo vivo onde forças invisíveis se manifestam. Cada obra nasce desse encontro entre gesto mínimo e tensão silenciosa: o instante em que o mundo físico ultrapassa sua própria lógica e revela sensibilidade.

Ao longo dos quatro movimentos da minha investigação — Transcendência, O Nada Entre, Imanência do Intervalo e Transfiguração da Matéria — exploro como a forma deixa de ser função e passa a existir como presença. Interesso-me pelo que vibra sob a superfície: o que se expande no intervalo, o que emerge da pausa, o que respira dentro da matéria.

A matéria não é objeto; é organismo. Cada exceção — uma esfera deslocada, uma elevação, um desvio — transforma a forma em acontecimento. Nesse ponto, o visível encontra o invisível, e a matéria encarna uma espiritualidade imanente: o milagre silencioso da matéria que sente.

My research begins with the understanding that matter is not inert: it vibrates, breathes, and carries memory. Wood, brass, steel — density, weight, and structure — become, in the studio, a living field where invisible forces manifest. Each sculpture emerges from the meeting between minimal gesture and silent tension: the moment in which the physical world exceeds its own logic and reveals sensitivity.

Throughout the four movements of my investigation — Transcendence, The Nothing Between, Immanence of the Interval, and Transfiguration of Matter — I explore how form ceases to be function and becomes presence. I am interested in what vibrates beneath the surface: what expands in the interval, what arises from pause, what breathes within matter.

Matter is not an object; it is an organism. Each exception — a displaced sphere, a rise, a deviation — transforms form into an event. At that point, the visible meets the invisible, and matter embodies an immanent spirituality: the silent miracle of matter that feels.
